1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cathedral Sacramental Data Keeper and Registrator ("Platform", "Application", "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Purpose of the Platform

The Platform is intended for churches, parishes, dioceses, priests, administrators, and authorized personnel to manage sacramental records, certificates, member information, reporting, analytics, and administrative operations.

3. Authorized Use

You may use the Platform only if you are authorized by the relevant church, parish, diocese, or governing organization. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, administrative, religious, and operational purposes related to church records.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, using accurate information, protecting access credentials, and ensuring that any records you enter are complete and truthful to the best of your knowledge.

You must not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with system security, upload malicious files, or use the Platform in a way that violates church policy or applicable law.

5. Records and Authority

All sacramental records remain under the control of authorized church personnel. The Platform is a record management tool and does not replace church authority, canonical governance, or administrative approval.

6. AI Features

The Platform may use AI to analyze documents, generate summaries, create reports, and support analytics. AI output is advisory only and must be reviewed by authorized human personnel before any action is taken.

AI does not approve certificates, issue certificates, modify historical records, or make canonical decisions.

7. Certificate Validation

Certificates generated by the Platform may include QR codes for authenticity verification. Validation results are intended only to confirm authenticity and do not independently establish legal, ecclesiastical, or canonical status.

8. Data Retention

Church records may be retained for long periods, including permanently where required by church policy, legal obligations, audit needs, or historical preservation requirements.

9. Account Suspension and Access Limits

We may suspend, limit, or revoke access to the Platform if we believe a user has violated these Terms, compromised security, or acted outside authorized use.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the Platform, but no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that risks may still exist when storing or transmitting data electronically.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform may rely on third-party services such as cloud storage, authentication, analytics, and synchronization providers. Their use may be subject to additional terms and policies.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
